<p><strong>WASHINGTON, Aug. 26, 2026</strong> – Shanghai Ravioli Corporation, in Boston, Mass., is recalling approximately 24,900 pounds of frozen, not ready-to-eat (NRTE) Buffalo chicken products that were produced without the benefit of inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.</p> <p>The frozen NRTE Buffalo chicken products were produced on various dates from July 8, 2025, to June 29, 2026. The following products are subject to recall [<a href="/sites/default/files/food_label_pdf/2026-08/Recall-018-2026-Labels.pdf">view labels</a>]: </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Cardboard boxes containing 100 pieces of “BUFFALO CHICKEN RANGOON” and “Sell By” dates from July 8, 2026, to June 29, 2027, represented on the label.</li> <li>Cardboard boxes containing 120 pieces of “BENEDETTO’S BUFFALO CHICKEN MOZZARELLA STICK” and “Sell By” dates from July 8, 2026, to June 29, 2027, represented on the label.</li> </ul> <p>The products subject to recall bear false marks of inspection with establishment number “EST. 18004”, which does not have a federal grant of inspection. These items were shipped to foodservice locations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. </p> <p>The problem was discovered during FSIS surveillance activities. </p> <p>There have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an illness or injury should contact a healthcare provider. </p> <p>Food produced without inspection may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants that put consumer health and safety at risk. FSIS is concerned that some products may be in foodservice refrigerators or freezers. Foodservice locations that have purchased these products are urged not to serve them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.</p> <p>FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify their<strong> </strong>customers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers.
